Our process

Our designs exceed the API-11B guidelines

We start with C and K grade raw steel that is hand-inspected in-process. Every bundle is stamped with a heat tag that allows for electronic tracking in case of problem solving.

1.Raw Material

We want to assure a zero failure rate at the well with our sinker bars and our accessories. So we’re confident with the quality control measures that we have in place that we can guarantee that we won’t send a defective bar to the well.
— Mark Nease

2. Manufacture

Once the raw steel has been inspected and approved it moves to the manufacturing process. Our operators use a API go and API no-go gauges to check the threads. We use dock calipers to measure our diameters and gap gauges to check for flat squareness in the size, making sure it's within API specs.

3. Protective COAT

We subject our sinker bars to an acid etching procedure in conjunction with the application of a two-part resin coating. Our primary objective is to maximize the longevity of these sinker bars. This safeguards against premature corrosion or rust formation during transportation or storage in our customers' yards.
